At the recent CTeen kinus last week, a music video was released in effort to boost the Chayus of the tzeiri hashluchim and help them stay strong despite the things the challenges they face on Shlichus.
The song was composed by CTeen Shliach to Orlando, Rabbi Nissan Zibel and was sung by 10 year old CTeen Shliach to Jamaica, NY., Mendy Abayov.
CTeen Shluchim around the world sent in pictures of their children helping prepare for CTeen or at CTeen programs.
T.T.T.O Niggun L’Shabbos V’Yom Tov
(#84 in Sefer Haniggunim)
No friends around, I feel alone.
My relatives are far from home
I wish I can, have kosher nosh
And ice cream locally
I planned to-go, have fun one day,
but then I’m told it’s on delay.
A teen event is happening,
to help out I must stay.
No need to wait until I’m grown,
to have a chapter of my own.
Rebbe I am your shliach here in my home town.
Devoted-with my-every fiber,
To-the Rebbe’s work, my dear father.
Rebbe I-am so proud to be your Shliach.
Oy! Rebbe you are with me,
I know that I am not alone.
Oy! Rebbe I give you nachas,
when I sacrifice my very own.
Being a Cteen Shliach is what I strive to be.
Reaching out to Jewish teens is what inspires me.
Dear-Rebbe, I’m your soldier, count on me.
No need to wait until I’m grown,
to have a chapter of my own.
Rebbe I am your shliach here in my home town.
Devoted-with my-every fiber,
To-the Rebbe’s work, my dear father.
Rebbe I am so proud to be your Shliach.
go rabbi and mrs. friedman and raizel and all the other kids!!!
Go Rochel and Meir Einbinder!!!
Another beautiful song you wrote!
Please don’t forget the Lubavitch children who are not children of shluchim. There are many Lubavitch children who live in out if the way paces out of town in order to help make a community in these places. These children help their parents host guests, give up their beds, help with events and act as little unofficial shluchim in their towns. Their parents are devoted to helping the Rebbe’s official Shluchim in these places. These children -also!- go without being surrounded by chassidishkeit, no friends, or kosher establishments. Don’t forget these children!
