A new revised edition of the two volumes of Toras Menachem – Basi Legani was published this week by Vaad Hanochos B’Lahak.
Basi L’Gani is the last Chassidic discourse written by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, before his passing on Shevat 10, 1950.
Chassidim customarily study Basi L’Gani each year in honor of the yahrtzeit, and each year his successor, the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, explained another of its chapters in depth.
These two books are a collection of those Chassidic teachings and were carefully proofread and compared to an audio recording of the Farbrengen in Brooklyn, NY, where they were said.
Rabbi Chaim Shaul Brook, Director of the Chassidic publishing house Lahak, told COLlive the new edition includes:
* Each chapter is accompanied by commentary.
* Copies of the hand-writings of the Rebbe relating to each chapter.
* Some Sichos talks that are connected to the Maamar.
* A general overview of the uniqueness of these discourses.
* Index and detailed contents.
The books, printed at the Print House, are available at the Kehot bookstore in Crown Heights and Kfar Chabad, Israel.
