Family and friends of Pinchas Greenberg OBM, known as “Pinto” gathered to celebrate the completion of a new Torah in his memory.
The Torah was completed to mark his first Yartzeit on 13 Shvat.
Family, friends and co-workers gathered at the offices of Lubavitch World Headquarters, where Pinto worked for many years as IT Director, for the completion of the final letters by Sofer Rabbi Moshe Klein.
The Torah was then led with joyous singing and dancing to the upstairs Shul in 770 Eastern Parkway. A festive seudah and farbrengen followed at the Jewish Children’s Museum.
