New Song of Pain and Hope Honors Victims of Oct 7

“Six Million Hearts” is a heartfelt, new song written by Mimi Hess in the wake of the horrific massacre in our homeland, Eretz Yisrael, 1 year ago on October 7.

Paired with soulful vocals by Moishy Goldstein, this song is a soul-stirring tribute to the lives lost and the enduring strength of the Jewish people. The lyrics echo the sorrow and pain of a nation scarred by tragedy, while also holding onto an unbreakable faith in survival and unity.

The song draws on the haunting memory of the Holocaust, of which we were all reminded during the October 7 massacre. The powerful imagery of ashes and flames draws a poignant parallel between the burning and smoke of October 7 and the ashes of the Holocaust so many years ago, while honoring all who fight and pray for the future of Am Yisrael.

Six million hearts once bled as one in suffering, now beat together in unity and hope, as we await the ultimate redemption with the coming of Moshiach, speedily in our days. Amen!
