Rabbi Chalom and Esti Loeub were hired as the newest Chabad Shluchim moving to the Florida state where they will be operating at Chabad Lubavitch of the Panhandle-Tallahassee and Florida State University.
But they are certainly not a new face in town.
For over three years, as a bochur, the Montreal-born Chalom Loeub volunteered for Chabad at Florida’s capital, helping Rabbi Schneur and Chanie Oirechman.
The Oirechmans have been in town for 10 years now serving the 4,000 Jewish students at FSU, the Florida Capital community and the small communities in the Panhandle of Panama City, Destin, Pensacola and more.
Rabbi Loeub hs proved an invaluable asset to the community, and after his marriage to Esti (nee Estreicher of Morristown, NJ), he was offered to return with his wife as official Shluchim based out of the Morris and Lillian Tabacinic Chabad Center which spreads on two acres in Tallahassee.
Rabbi Oirechman told COLlive.com that Rabbi Loeub will be the Director of Outreach to students and community members, while Mrs. Loeub will serve as COO (chief operating officer) and director of community programming.
“They are an important and exciting addition to our community as we approach the High Holidays and begin a new year,” Rabbi Oirechman said.
“We are delighted Chalom is coming back with Esti with the purpose of reaching our goal of reaching every Jew and bringing Moshiach now.”

It is great to have you back Chalom!
And especially great because you bring a wonderful wife to further bolster the community.
May the motto of New York state come with you to Tallahassee:
Excelsior – which means “ever upwards”
Unbiased as we are. Chalom is great and now has a real “powerhouse” to help him. We see only success ahead!
