New Shavous Magazine titled “Your Heritage” A brief guide to the ultimate guide of the Ten Commandments set to appear in Chabad Houses around the world. This year, Shavuos’s reading of the Aseres Hadibros falls on a Sunday.
With Chabad House attendance expected to be high, the team at Soulwise Magazine had created a read along hand-out for the Ten commandments.
The guide helps readers see the Torah as more than just a book of laws. The Torah is a bridge between body and soul, heaven and earth. Like the founder of Chabad, the Alter Rebbe, told his son’s new teacher: What is an alef? G-d from above and and a Jew from below connected by the Torah, that’s an alef.
The 16-page glossy magazine includes the actual Torah reading along with the Rebbe’s teachings on Shavous and the true power of the Torah.
The powerful ideas help the reader rethink the events of Matan Torah and come to understand why the angels were wrong in thinking the Torah should be kept safe in gan eden.
The Rebbe wants men and women and children of all ages to hear the Torah reading on Shavous and the Rebbe wants every Jew to know that the Torah is their “Inheritance.” That’s the idea behind the new magazine for shluchim.
The new shavous magazine is available for shluchim to put their names on the cover and include Rabbi’s letter and ads from locals, and of course a back page ad with where people can celebrate shavous.
