Rabbi Yehoshua B. Gordon, Head Shliach in the Valley in California, was a beloved Torah scholar, congregational rabbi and educator, who taught thousands of students around the globe through the world’s most widely viewed daily Torah classes.
A consummate rabbinic, communal leader, and executive director of Chabad of the Valley, Rabbi Gordon oversaw the establishment of a string of institutions, which have grown to 31 Chabad centers, including synagogues, Hebrew schools, adult-education institutes, summer camps and a host of other closely linked communal institutions.

I listen to Rabbi Gordon’s chitas classes every day on my way to work. And I know many others who start their day with Rabbi Gordon as well. He has the zchus of so much Torah learning. It’s hard to believe that he’s gone for 7 years. To me he’s very much alive.
….he’s still here alive and well teaching me and us everyday his chitas classes with his dynamic sense of humor and total dedication to Hashem, Torah, the Rebbe and Chassidus.
Thank you Chabad.org for keeping him with us via the recordings and thank you for this new initiative.
