A new Kosher hotel is planned to be built in Hollywood, Florida, the South Florida Business Journal reported.
The Wyndham Dolce Kosher House Hotel is being built by BSD Capital, a Boca Raton-based real estate firm owned by Sharon Sharaby.
Sharaby said the hotel will be the first Kosher hotel in Broward County and will feature 100 guest rooms, a rooftop pool and special amenities geared toward Jewish travelers looking for a more ‘kosher’ hotel stay.
Amenities will include a kosher rooftop restaurant near the pool, he said. A Shabbos elevator will automatically stop on every floor and rooms can be opened without the use of an electronic key card reader so guests can refrain from operating electronics.
The hotel will be built at 5530 S. State Road 7 in Hollywood, across the street from the Hollywood Hard Rock casino. City officials first approved the project in February 2019.
They will be breaking ground on Feb. 5. Construction is expected to last about 20 months, so BSD Capital is aiming for a late 2022 debut.
