This evening, a mezuzah was affixed and the new, large sleeping tent in Crown Heights was inaugurated, designated for the hundreds of guests arriving for Tishrei with the Rebbe.
After decades of difficulty in finding suitable accommodations near 770, the facility offers a spacious and convenient solution for 600 guests. Honored at the mezuzah ceremony were Avremel Lokshin, the property owner, and community activists Rabbi Moshe Pinson, Meir Kabakov, and Yudi Grunberg.
The new facility was established through the initiative of several students from 770, with generous support from community leaders. The project was meticulously planned, with attention to the smallest details, aiming to provide high-quality lodging close to 770.
