With camp is starting next week, Gan Yisroel New York is pleased to announce some new additions in camp this summer.
The summer is a time where the campers come to camp to enjoy the sports, activities, trips and so much more that Gan Yisroel has to offer, but more importantly, it is a time where the campers experience a fully immersive environment of Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit in a positive and exciting way, which impacts them for a lifetime.
For this reason, Gan Yisroel New York is launching a new extra-curricular initiative named “like a chossid”, where the camp will focus each week on a different part of a chossid’s day.
The program will be implemented through the brand new easy-read, camper-friendly learning material and weekly test, about the what to do, how to do, and why to do, as a chossid.
The program will cover topics like how a chossid goes to sleep, how he wakes up, even how he plays and interacts with his friends, so by the end of the summer the campers will walk out feeling proud of who he is, and knowing what it means to be a chossid in his own day to day life.
The program will feature unique, exclusive merch and perks for the campers who participate in the “like a chossid” program, which will help the campers to learn and internalize these quintessential lessons and habits of what makes us so special and different as chassidim, in an exciting way.
Another exciting addition are 4 brand new, state-of-the-art, professional sports fields on the camp grounds. This includes a full size basketball court, soccer field, and 2 beach style volleyball courts. These courts will be used daily by the camper sports leagues, and the added fields will increase the number of sports teams to enable more camper participation at each game.
best camp ever

ESPECIALLY THE BRAND NEW SONG!!!
That is so great but we also need to face the fact we are growing by leaps and bounds, and we need new camps for every age and every stage. There are so many of the Rebbes Children staying at home in the city with nothing to do but sit on the phone the whole day and you know where that’s gonna leave them.how will they start the new year and get back into the system after a summer sitting at home???
