Simultaneously, she dedicated herself to advancing her education in wig techniques, deepening her expertise in the field.

As her expertise grew over the years, so did the demand. She began seeing clients at her dining room table out of her apartment. But she was soon faced with a pivotal decision: halt her growth or expand.

With glowing feedback from clients, Shaina seized the opportunity to expand her business. Fueled by their enthusiasm, she embraced growth confidently, driven by her commitment to excellence. Choosing the latter, Shaina trained a team to support her local and international clientele, propelling her business forward.

Shaina recently established a storefront on Empire Boulevard and Brooklyn Avenue. Appropriately naming her store Needle and Lace, after the two essential tools she uses daily.

Needle and Lace’s new location is filled with plenty of natural sunlight; they have a growing line of wig accessories and services from wash and sets, and everything you may need to elevate your wig. They have recently begun selling beautiful, virgin, unprocessed L-Litvack wigs.

With mothers in mind, there is a kids’ corner with toys and entertainment for all ages so moms can really focus on themselves and enjoy the experience, whether it’s buying a new wig or fixing an old one.
