Schneur Zalman Greenberg, a 4-month-old Chabad infant, has passed away in his crib on Monday, 19 Kislev 5773, an auspicious day marking the liberation of the Alter Rebbe from Czarist prison and the Rosh Hashana of chassidus.
The boy was born on 18 Elul 5772, the birthday of the first Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi after who the boy was named.
“At around 4:30am I was awakened by strong banging on my door,” said Barak Hillel of the local Hatzalah medical service who lives near the Greenberg family in the Chabad neighborhood in Lod.
“The parents were screaming and I ran into their house and saw the baby all blue. I started doing CPR and after 20 minutes a doctor came and said it was over.”
The levaya took place Monday. The boy is survived by his parents R’ Yossi and Hadassah Greenberg of Lod.

May Hashem comfort the Parents and give them strength!
the baby was 3 months old and he is also survived by his 3 older siblings. bde.
If this isnt a clear sign of a neshama coming here to this world in a gilgul for a very specific purpose, I dont know what is. May his parents be comforted with the mourners of tzion! Moshiach now!
if the baby was born on the 18th of elul then he was only 3 months not 4 months old.
