Last Motzei Shabbos a Kinus Hisorerus was held for women and girls of the Los Angeles community in memory of Rebbetzin Sara Rochel Schochet OBM, who passed away a few weeks ago.
Over 500 hundred people attended.
Speakers included: Rabbi Yaakov Kraus, Dean of Toras Emes Academy, Rabbi Yoel Burston, principal of Beis Yaakov, Mrs. Hadassa Spalter, daughter of Rebbetzin Schochet, and Mrs. Menucha Schochet, daughter-in-law of Rebbetzin Schochet.

Hadassah and Menucha both spoke in a most inspirational way, leaving us all such Chizuk through stories of Rebbetzin Schochet ………!!!! May.May we all be lead to the Geula this month……………. !!!!!

I took off all the mezuzot from the rooms where I thought they should not be on.
I wish I would have known this before, it turns out I only need one mezuzah on one door post in the whole house!
so what if it was her nephew she would have done the same for anyone else and i know cause she was my teacher and she was just caring and kind and she loved everyone equally to her a jew was a jew nothing stood in the way
the bochur with the broken jaw was her nephew…
