I was there when it was filmed. He was talking about how he admired the little people which are rarely recognized, noting that many of the ‘big heroes’ were hated by their own family. He continued, ‘take for example Albert Einstein……….’ Deceptive Editing. Dont believe everything you see
how do you know that he was asked who his hero is? maybe they asked him to name the 20th century’s greatest scientist. The clip of him was him saying Albert Einstein with no context. (ps. I am not Rabbi Jacobson, or even a family member)

I am a fellow lubavicther, a shliach.
I read all of YYJ HH speeches and was moved beyond words. Dozens of men and woman, young and old, from all walks of life that were in my chabad house this past RH & YK were moved beyond words — listening to the rich message that was real, alive and meaningful.
Your zealousness to criticize is embarrassing to me – and you should be embarrassed to have reacted like a true behiema.

To number 6 and any other naysayers — I didn’t go past that post — I had no appetite for more. I am part of the community, not an outsider and I think many chabad chassidim have a real problem with “fargening.” We all have flaws, mine are probably worse than that. But it always crops up on these websites. There is always a stuch to someone successful in any area of life . I apologize — don’t mean to criticize, but ti got to me.

It’s nice when someone notices that a person close to them is a hero. It doesn’t need to be a famous activist, it could be your spouse, sibling, parent or friend. Lucky wife, whose husband is smart enough to appreciate her!

yyj speeches are very good as a speech. Have Chabad Chassidishe Rabbis become speech zogers. If his speeches were prepared for other occassions I agree they are fantastic and inspiring but this is yomim noroim and we are supposed to be shluchim – spokepeople for the Rebbe and chassidus. You think in your wildest dreams YYJ would present a speech like this for the Rebbe to be spoken by his shluchim on yomim noroim? What are you talking about. I know of about 20 bochrim who have become more frum because of YY. His speaches on the yommim noarim don’t have to be used by you if you dont like them. But all shluchim use them BECAUSE THEY ARE AMAZING. If you don’t like it than go back into your house and have ARAFAT be your hero. You obviously hate jews just as much!!!!!!

If my husband would be 1% aware of everything that I have to put up with, or as this guy said it,even in a joking way, because he didn’t sound to serious, I, maybe, wouldn’t feel so revolted that he is a hero to thousands and thousands of people, because when he comes home,he behaves like an animal. Usually the public service men are the WORST husbands. So it’s nice to hear someone say my hero is my wife.
