I read this and I felt very sad. You are a lovely sister, I can feel how much you loved your brother. I want to hug you and tell you that your brothers soul shines brighter because of all the things you have written here, and the love you have for him.
May his soul rest in peace.

how many children benefited from this camp fund over the last 37 years, kids that otherwise may have spent the summer void of Yiddishkeit, bored and on the street. What a merit for the nifter! but it’s dependent on people like you and me to donate….

So special

Wow, so the Camp Fund that was started in Avremy’s memory is actually a direct continuation of his last Peulah – including its result of the little girl growing in her Yiddishkeit! As the Rebbe said regarding camp that ‘a child can grow more during a few weeks in camp that during his 10 months in Yeshiva!’ What a beautiful way for us to be able to continue in his Avodah!

When this baby girl grew up and learned about the history of her Jewish name, she decided to learn Torah. She became a Baalas Teshuva and currently lives in Eretz Yisroel with her family.
