In a special edition, the Israel-based Mishpacha weekly magazine published an interview with long-time military commentator Yisroel Katzover, whose exposé on Israeli Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin‘s acceptance of four F-15 jets on Shabbat led to the break up of the coalition in his first government.
In the article, Katzover recalls a revealing story that demonstrates the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s far-reaching influence in world affairs.
“In one of my trips to Egypt with the entourage of the Israeli Prime Minister, an advisor of the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak came over to me and told me that the President would like to talk to me.
“I walked into his room and we began a very pleasant conversation.
“Mubarak wanted to know who is the Lubavitcher Rebbe, what’s his influence on Jews in general and Israelis in particular, and why he is against normalization with Egypt.”
This is very interesting!
so then what did he answer????? (please continue article)
