Mrs. Tzipra (Edith) Schaffran, a beloved mother and grandmother from Crown Heights, passed away on Tuesday, 7 Teves, 5781.
She was 72.
Tzipra was born in Italy, and immigrated to Crown Heights in the late 1960’s to teach in Bais Rivkah.
She also worked in the Crown Heights Community Council, F.R.E.E., and was a preschool teacher in Klausenberg.
She was predeceased by her husband R’ Bentzion Schaffran obm.
She survived by her children Mrs. Hindy Zirkind – Montreal, Shimmy Schaffran – Crown Heights, and Ezzie Schaffran – Five Towns, and grandchildren.
The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 12 pm, passing by 770 at 1 pm. Burial at Montefiore Cemetery at 2 pm.
