Mrs. Fruma Junik, daughter of the esteemed Mashpia and Chosid of the Rebbe Rashab, R’ Avrohom Boruch Pevsner HY”D and wife of known chossid and devoted Meshamesh of the Rebbe, R’ Berel Junik, passed away on Wednesday, 2 Nissan, 5784.
She was 91.
She is survived by her children, Yosef Yitzchak Junik – Crown Heights, Shimshon Aaron Junik – Crown Heights, Meir Shlomo Junik – Crown Heights, Nechama Itkin – Pittsburgh, Chana Spielman – Crown Heights, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Junik – London and Dovid Junik – Crown Heights.
She was predeceased by her husband R’ Berel Junik, and her son R’ Avrohom Boruch Junik obm.
The Levaya will take place on Thursday, 12:30 PM Chapel, 1:30 PM 770, 2:30 PM Beis Hachayim.
Shiva will take place at 723 Empire Boulevard, 2nd Floor

Mrs. Junik and I used to learn Chumash Chitas after davening on Shabbos morning. I really liked her enthusiasm and excitement for life. She was such a happy person.

Fruma was so full of life. She had such Jois de vivre. She took my friend, Timmy Rubin, into her home, a new new Baal Tseuvah. The Junik’s groomed her.
Fruma & I flew to Timmy’s bar mitzvah together.
