Mr. Shimon Traurig, long time member of the Lubavitch community in Toronto, Canada, passed away.
He was 93.
He is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, 2:00 pm at Steeles College Memorial.
Shiva will be at the Ostfeld home, 88 Charles Avenue, Thornhill, Ontario.

never met him, but he looks like such an ehrlich man from his photo. May the family know of no more pain
this is devastating news, heartbreaking… he had the kohen blessing on his lips at the ready at all times, to jews and sometimes even non jews alike believe it or not. a pious, simple, cheerful man, a jew who counted his blessings, big and small. what a shame this is. all i can say is he should be a bider beiter for his children; grandchildren; greatgrankids.

Don’t know of that member in Montreal. But the children are Baruch Traurig – Lilly Ostfeld – Milly Adler – and I know there is another daughter who resides more south. In any case, there should only be simchas and bsoros tovos from now on for this family and klal yisroel. Amen.
