Mr. Erwin (Yisroel) Lapine, a resident of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Monday, 26 Kislev, 5777.
Mr. Lapine was part of the Chabad community in Overland Park, Kansas under the leadership of Rabbi Shalom and Bluma Weinberg.
He served in the American army during world war two. He has 10 grandchildren, 2 of whom are on shlichus in San Diego, CA and Columbia, MO.
He is survived by his wife Janice and children Chaim Dovid Lapine, Pam Reiz and Leland Lapine.
His wife and children are sitting shiva in Overland Park, KS.

Chaim Dovid, your father was a real gentleman, very distinguished. We had the privilege of hosting your parents for your simchas. Your father and his generation were real men, quite and refined who did for others. We are blessed to have known him and he leaves behind a beautiful legacy.
