A Crown Heights resident and his son who were struck by a deer late Sunday afternoon while riding on a motorbike, are expected to return home Monday.
“Hopefully we will be discharged today,” the father and businessman wrote to COLlive.com from the Westchester Medical Center in NY, where he is currently hospitalized.
In a text message received Jul 11, 2011 11:18 AM, he wrote: “Boruch Hashem, myself and my son Moshe are doing great and there seems to be no serious problems.”
The two, both wearing helmets, were hit in front of Luxor Estates in the town of Loch Sheldrake. Hatzolah Paramedics requested a chopper to respond for the child who had a head injury, to be flown to a trauma center, CatskillScoop.com reported.
The father asked COLlive, “Please post that all is good and that all the Tehillim helped.”
thanks to Menashe Friedman for taking care of Moshe
every story should be posted when everything is good
PLEASE…be careful!! B”H they were wearing helmets, but we tend to be more care-free during the summer. As this story shows, accidents, the most bizarre ones, can happen at any time.
