Update: Lilach has been “blown away by the outpouring of support,” say organizers of the campaign.
“She thanks each one of you, from those that share the story to those that donate any amount, big or small. We realize that there is still a long way to go, and we are hopeful that we will get there asap,” they say.

38 year old Lilach Swisa, a loving wife mother of four boys, is struggling with multiple sclerosis (MS) since she was 24 years old.
This debilitating condition is an unpredictable disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the protective myelin sheath that covers the nerves.
Lilach’, symptoms and resulting pain has severely diminished her quality of life and her ability to care for her family and young baby. A wheelchair or a full support walker is the only way she can get around. It is so very hard for her family to watch her suffer through each day, not to mention the incredible financial burden this has caused, a husband that needs to be home in case his wife falls or in case she can’t get to the baby etc. etc. her children ask if Eemah, will ever walk again.

Lilach was born and raised in Israel. At the age of 18, she traveled to the United States to visit with her father and while there she met her future husband. They married in Israel but later settled in North Miami Beach to start their family. Lilach was very active during this time but began to experience the symptoms of MS after the birth of her second child.
After years of declining health, Lilach found great hope for MS patients in new stem cell technology called hematopoietic stem cell transplantation or HSCT. This procedure may halt of even reverse the progression of her MS.
Lilach has found a reputable and well-known medical facility in Israel where she has been approved for this treatment and can start as early as this August, however her health insurance company will not pay for this costly procedure as it is outside of the United States.
Lilach will be required to pay for the total expense of her HSCT therapy out-of-pocket. The cost of the HSCT treatment, travel abroad, housing, and follow-up care will be upwards of $130,000. It is a challenge she cannot face alone so we are turning to you for support.
A fundraising site has been set up to help with the financial burden of Lilach’s uninsured and related expenses, All donations are tax-deductible, and are for medically-related expenses only. Please!! we urge you to consider a contribution.
Your support is critical to the success of Lilach’s struggle. There is so little time, and so much to fundraise. Your help would be such a mitzvah!
With sincere thanks,
Lilach’s loving family and friends

Naturally, she and her family are still in the need of financial help. Even to be able to hire an aid or housekeeper so the husband can go to work.
However, interns of the procedure in Israel, there are people that help one reinstate bituach l’umi and thus she will have health insurance as an Israeli citizen in Israel. Definitely worth looking into.
Donated small amount bcse all that I have to give but please give whatever u can small amounts add up quickly and the payment process is so quick and easy. The treatment is highly effective and proven and for what it involves and will yield is actually a very inexpensive procedure if u put it into perspective. Many non Jews from all over the world come to Israel for this procedure.
I just made a donation
Please have the mother write a PAN to the Rebbe
Won’t accept UK as a location
Good that I have a USA address and zip code
Now won’t accept ……..
What a shame. Nice to have easy possibility.
I would think she is still an Israeli citizen. I do not know the ins and outs of the health care system here but surely her request can be made to the Ministry of Health for special consideration. The health funds here in Israel at times will fund a specific procedure that can’t be done in Israel. My husband had a surgery in NYC, which could not be performed here in Israel and our health fund paid 100% for all medical expenses and more., miracles do happen. is this option being investigated for her?
