The 8th grade class of Cheder Chabad Monsey graduated Thursday at a ceremony attended by their proud families and friends.
Participants were greeted by Rabbi Boruch Lesches, the mara d’asrah of Monsey, Rabbi Dovid Brawer, the Yeshiva’s executive director, and Rabbi Shusterman, the Yeshiva’s founder.
During the event, each student had a chance to speak.
One of the students, Moishy Goldstein, presented a special video in which he wrote the lyrics, played the music, and created a video of an original song.
The boys that participated in voluntary evening minchas chinuch shuir, given by Rabbi Lustig, received their own minchas chinuch sets.
To show their appreciation to their beloved Rebbe, Rabbi Shimon Dubinsky, he was presented with a complete set of the Tzemach Tzedek Or HaTorah.
A parent of a student, Rabbi Borenstein, represented the parents in thanking Rabbi Kaplan, Mrs. Karash and Rabbi Brawer.
One graduate, Ari Light, made a siyum on the entire mesechtos makos which he learned on his own time.
“We are very proud of all of them and wish them much hatzlocho as they set out into the great future that lies ahead of them,” the hanholah of the school said.
