from the first time i came to detroit being welcomed in the airport by mrs. bennish , and through out the three years i was there. the farbeisen on varios ocasions (espaculy the latcees on chanuka), getting updated on whats going on in lubavitch (we had no cellphones then), and making detroit yeshiva feel like home.

I remember as a young bochur in Detroit years ago when ever we needed a warm “taste of home” Mrs Bennish was always there to help; whether with a hot meal, a ride somewhere or just a friendly smile.
