i thought you would say that its disappointing.
You shouldn’t be laughing at people if they are trying to discuss their viewpoints. that’s what happens on COL, everyone gets to express their own opinion. (and some people just hak a chainik)

August 16, 2010 4:01 pm

…happy to see (at least if the pictures are accurate)..that there wasn’t much paparazzi there …I hope these pictures are just from someones camera…I don’t think Moishie checks COL so I don’t think that it’s a problem to let us know how he’s doing and shep nachas….

Moshe'le, Moshe'le
August 16, 2010 10:06 am

Gabi and Rivky are watching as you grow, shepping so much nachas knowing that you are in such good hands. Publicity is good – for the sake of his parents, and what they stood for. With more time passing, people are slowly forgetting…THE WORST TRAGEDY THAT HIT CHABAD.
Everyone should continue donating $$ to Moshe’le’s fund and his Parent’s Chabad House. Moshiach NOW!

In Israel the new school year starts now. They don’t have to wait for Labor Day there to start learing. They could start learing in the beginning of Elul.

13 and 22
August 16, 2010 3:15 am

1 his birthday is rosh chodesh (1 kislev)
2 this is a hachnasa lecheder! the beginning of the school year i suppose. not his birthday. do you start school on your birthday? i personally start schoool at the beginning of the school year

dear curious
August 16, 2010 1:32 am

“why is he only going to cheder now”
my question to you
none of your business!
The Rosenberg’s are in charge of Moishe’s best interests.
you think you know better?
advice to you,
stop thinking

August 16, 2010 12:35 am

Because Cheder begins rosh chodesh Elul. And last rosh chodesh Elul he was just 2, not old enough to begin.

Thank you

August 15, 2010 6:27 pm

is having a story in Chabadonline, and maybe Chabad.org the definition of paparazzi? It isn’t l’havdil Vogue magazine chasing him or an army of celebrity bloggers or the New York Times…I think people are overreacting about this kind of publicity. He probably hardly even notices it..

Rabbi Rosenberg's smile
August 15, 2010 4:50 pm

Is very heartening, considering all he’s been through, it’s amazing that he draws strength for such a simchadike smile, we can all learn from the light on his face.
Mazel Tov Moishe, we love you!
and, to #3, why is Moishe’s Hachnossah L’cheder etc. any different than the simcha of any other little boy posted on collive.com? So many simchas are posted, let’s share in the simchas together, may we have many many more to share with each other! We’re all one family!!

His birthday was Bais Kislev. So why is he only going to cheder now?

“to be in the public eye constantly”?
i hardly call this constant.
as he goes to school and goes on with his life,
the coverage will be less and less.
and that is fine, and i imagine that is what it will be.
any coverage he gets is with the Rosenberg’s approval.
They are role model parents B”H.
If they allowed this coverage, then it is absolutely OK.
Moishe klal yisroel loves you and are watching you grow, and see how cute and adorable and mature you are. you look like a prince mamash.

August 15, 2010 4:03 pm

i have been in the commenting writing business for – years and ive been watching the progress of the coments that pop up but a few things still disturbs me. number one why is it nesesarry to comment on every comments comments comment. if you have something inteligent to say than say it. the idea of just writing because you like to log off then log back on and see your opinion proudly posted among countless other stupid things to say is rather silly if you think about it. which leads me to my next complaint. being able to post… Read more »

Any picture of Moishe”s milestones thrill me. But his job is not to make us happy. And I always think that it’s not that good for him to be in the public eye constantly. I watched the entire upsherenish on COL, but I kept thanking, “How good is this exposure for Moishe?” Rabbi Rosenberg is a true hero.

Mmmmmm
August 15, 2010 2:09 pm

Whilst I understand the need to protect his privacy, nevertheless. This is both. Inspiring and at the same time. A little. Sad, to say the very least.

BS”D based on the fact that klal yisroel are davening for him, that he should adjust to life I”H and the rest…we want to know – it is not selfish ChV’Sh – it is bc we care for goodness sake. We all love him. we dont see him being tracked by the paparazzi at all. we see pics of him at his milestones – we want to know bc we care – and Moishe should have comfort knowing we are all shepping nachas from each stage of his growth. keep the pics coming – he is in my thoughts and… Read more »

BS:D what is the big deal, who doesn’t take pictures of his kid at such an event, you think Moshe knows that the pirctures went on col live etc. and seeing him brings us much joy, seeing him goes a little way to ease the pain everyone feels over his loss

Mazal tov!
August 15, 2010 12:30 pm
