In an interview about his career in Israeli television, Dani Kushmero mentioned the Mumbai tragedy as one of biggest stories he reported on while hosting the news on Channel 2.
Asked whether the many events he reports about makes him apathetic, he answered:
“There were moments when the tears really choked me, when my voice was shaky for a moment.
“There was a moments I broke down, but the camera didn’t capture it, so I was not seen.
“It was when I reported about the attack in Mumbai. A little child arrives, Moishy Holtzberg, and then, from within the quiet, he begins screaming very loudly “Ima, Ima,” and cries.
“As I film this the tears are pouring from my eyes. I felt like I was allowed. No one could see me.”
i agree with 7. hes only human. even if i would be the most hardened person in tyhe world, i doubt i could have been still when hearing moishy crying for his mother
how about the soldiers (jewish soldiers) who had to expell the jews of gush katif? i heard not one soldier could expell 1 person/family after they did it the first time. they would sit in jail for disobeying orders but that was preferable to thjem then breaking hearts of gush katif.
humans have hearts!
may moshiach come NOW we wont know of more sadness
erm i didnt cry and i am perfectly human and i agree with no 2
Anyone who saw the pictures or heard the cries of Moishe’le, no matter what their profession , had shed tears. It is inhuman not to have felt anything.
your right you guys have nothing else to do with your life
EVERYONE GET A LIFE. YOU’RE PATHETIC
To #2, the guy is a news anchor NOT a doctor, teacher, president. You ought to check if your heart is still beating.
THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Because unprofessionalism is something we don’t need:
We don’t need the doctor freaking out when operating..
We don’t need the teacher loosing his cool when a child misbehaves
We don’t need the president going bezurk over the economy instead of fixing it
And we don’t need our newsmen to get all teary when doing his job
News people aren’t super-human. Why can’t people see them cry?
