Mrs. Miriam (Meryl) Yaffe, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother from Leeds, England and more recently Sydney, Australia, passed away on 17 Av, 5784.
She was 81.
Miriam Yaffe was a beloved mother to 5 children, grandmother to 17 grandchildren, and most recently celebrated the birth of her first great-grandchild.
Miriam was a respected member of the Leeds Kashrus Authority, and a volunteer for the Chevra Kadisha and local Mikva, quietly performing many Mitzvos of family purity for the women of the Leeds community.
Following the Lavaya in Sydney, Miriam will be returned and laid to rest by her husband Moshe Baruch Yaffe obm in Rainsough Cemetery, Manchester.
