In an atmosphere reminiscent to camp, one hundred children from Crown Heights hopped onto a bus for the first official Chayolei Hamelech Reunion.
Prior to their embarking, the campers lined up on President Street and said the twelve pesukim and enjoyed a sing-along. The campers sang enthusiastically as the bus rolled on its way to the Gil Hodges Bowling Alley in Mill Basin.
The children enjoyed a game of bowling with their beloved staff, which was followed by a a pizza party and a special video presentation at Chabad of Mill Basin.
To culminate the event, every camper was awarded an exclusive slideshow disc prepared especially for the reunion.
The children sang their way back to Crown Heights and made a deep impression upon all the passers-by.
Although this was the first camp-wide reunion, Chayolei Hamelech held farbrengens for every bunk over Sukkos. In addition, the staff and campers joined forces in the Chayolei Hamelech Sukkah Mobile. A monthly newsletter keeps children and parents updated on all of these peulos and more.
GOO Levi!!!
if you have something against the camp – speak up!
I was there, my friends where there, and that’s where everyone should go! It’s a good camp, and that’s it!
its seems almost all the above posts are from the same (employee) of that camp (you can also tell from the times it was posted. many are right after the other)
My son was in Chayolei in the Yeshivas Kayitz section – directed by Rabbi Yehudah Levin and Rabbi Gershon Avtzon- and I was very impressed. I then sent my son to the cincinnati yeshivah.
This past summer was my best summer ever!!!
My son doesn’t stop talking about the survival program they had!
I was truly taken aback when my son (7th grade) first called home from camp and told me that his teacher is Rabbi Mann from Toronto (a renowned Mashpia). I later found out that the eighth grade program also enjoyed the company of Rabbi Oster (OT eighth grade – the most sought after teacher). And that the younger division also had an experienced Mechanech – Rabbi Gisinsky. I mean, where else do you find such experienced Mechanchim?
All the parents whether or not they are mishichistim agree, that this year chayolei ahmelech did absolutely unbelievable…
For the objectivity.
After reading so many positive comments (a real Yotze Min Hahlal for any subject). It Ta’ke seems that Chayolei is back up there with the frontrunners.
Chayolei is back to the prestige’s camp it once was!!!
Chayoley totally took the cake!!!
Was the best summer ever!!!
Likula Alma!!!
Les Man Dipalig!!!
Even though, my politics don’t necessarily align with the camp. I’m definitely considering sending my son’s there. After they’ve been complaining that our neighbors had such a good summer there.
From my personal experience, I would definitely advise everyone to send their kids to Chayolei. You’ll see the difference when they get back!!! (like I did)
CCH truly built up a reputation after such a smashing summer!
My son is kept busy throughout the year!
Go Chayolei, Go!!!
Officially this past summer was extraordinarily good. And rumor has it that they’re getting a big donation (in the seven digits) from Mule Chanin for next year. So, I can only imagine what it will be like!
I really got my money’s worth. I paid for a summer, and in return got a full year of programs!!!
My kid came back fro camp totally rejuvenated, and with a special love and fondness to the Rebbe and Chasidishkeit!
Childs Mother
Chayolei are true pioneers in the field of keeing-in-touch all year round!!!
You’re right. The reports that I hear from the kid’s is that Chayolei did expremly well this year!
OT Teacher
Do they really keep-in-touch all year round?
Yankel
The fact is it’s an excellent camp!!!
So put your bigotry aside!
A CHUTZPA!!! It’s a mishechiste camp!! Why are they posting it?!
Way to go, Kalmo!!!
It looks like they’re reinstating the camp to how it was in the good old days of Machne Menachem!!!
That this summer was truly a succes!
By far!!!
For truly being objective and posting this article.
A truly amazing camp whose staff make sure to stay in touch. As a parent I was thrilled when my son was visited by two of the head staff on a regular shabbos!!!
