Militant Shliach

During a visit to Israel, Minnesota's Head Shliach Rabbi Moshe Feller posed with uncommon gear. Famously known for always carrying a pair of Tefillin to don on the people he meets, Feller spent Shabbos at the Israeli settlement Karmei Tzur giving lectures for the residents. There he posed with the security guard's radio and rifle. Photo

yaakov vs. eisov
February 3, 2009 2:33 am

Rabbi Feller is a good Shliach of the Rebbe – however, even though we all know it is necessary – sometimes – to done the bigdei eisov etc. Rabbi Feller would have done better (and does always do better!) when holding onto the kol kol yaakov – the tefillin. Other “people” in the Middle East, celebrate and show off their guns, not us.
