Unfortunately, people might not like this, but chabad is great for the outside world, but within there’s much to be done that’s its simply ignored, as I myself been in many communities aorund the world & especially in Europe , from the bikur cholim of satmar in Europe, there helps out in so many ways, & from the other chasidim that have established many idea to help thier own community, from all directions, to the most basic of even grants to help newly married get a mortgage, you just have to look in the other community and say why can’t… Read more »

I imagine our own Chabad girls who are on their own derech can join this database. Why not? It can only help both the seeker and the finder. Furthermore, our Shadchanim should learn from this and have (at least) a zoom call with anyone they represent. Some young people are shy to do this, but if they’re ready to get married, it’s a good first step of talking about yourself to a stranger. It will streamline the “suggestions” to a more suitable type instead of simply throwing out the newest names and leaving the parents to spend hours of research… Read more »
