On Sunday evening, a record 130+ people came together at the Fisher Island Club to celebrate the first night of Chanukah.
Meyer Flacks was honored with the lighting of the Menorah and the singing of Maoz Tzur, followed by a Chankuah message from Rabbi Avraham Korf, the Head Shliach of the State of Florida.
In true Chanukah spirit delicious doughnuts and sizzling latkes were served, and all participants enjoyed a beautiful evening.
Many people also took the opportunity to sign up for the Shabbat Minyan & Meal, which will be held this week for just the second time.
