Participants at a Farbrengen this past Shabbos Hagadol in Melbourne, Australia, were inspired to organize a Grand Mitzvah Tank Parade to celebrate the Rebbe’s 110th birthday.
Acquiring ten tanks in Melbourne on such short notice was quite a feat, as was the effort in putting the whole event together within a few days, but working together, it was accomplished.
The Yud Aleph Nissan celebrations in Melbourne, Australia, saw a parade of ten colorfully decorated Mitzvah Tanks travel through many of the suburban shopping strips.
Large eye-catching posters with messages celebrating the Rebbe’s 110th birthday, the Ten Mivtzoim and the upcoming holiday of Pesach made bystanders and other vehicles stop in their tracks. Hundreds of hand baked Shmurah Matzos and Pesach brochures were also distributed in the Mivtzoim that followed later on in the day.

Moshe and Mendy are there as well, look carefully
Im not trying to do the traditional COLlive comment-bashing, just i want to explain that these trucks dont have any “Rebbe Moshiach!” emblazoned on the side, just a nice design encouraging people to do a Mitzvah, and a picture of the Rebbe saying ‘dedicated in honour of the Lubaqvitcher Rebbe”. I dont see this as anything that could be interpreted as you said.
Lchaim.
Year 9, keep up the Chassidishkiet! Stay strong!

Imagine if the Christians would do the same thing – they’d drive vans with big pictures of J all over it, blasting Christian music. How would you feel? Ok I admit it’s nice to be proud of where you come from, but don’t overdo it.… Read more »
