Over 3,000 attended a Lag B’Omer parade in Melbourne, Australia, organized by Chabad Youth Melbourne, led by Rabbi Moshe Kahn.
Participating were 250 boys from Yeshiva College and 350 girls from Beth Rivkah.
The parade was followed by a large fair with rides and entertainment.
Among the guests were dignitaries, community leaders and renowned philanthropists.
Just to add to #43, as a proud member of the YG time, I could testify that there were many sleepless nights by many YG bochurim and shluchim, and we managed to pull off all those things (a band, skit, clowns, and the best float) while juggling it all with a full day (7:00am – 9:30pm) learning schedule… BEAT THAT!!!

YG built the shevet yosef float and helped with the building of many other floats. YG made a 3 peice band, acted out a lag baomer skit and generaly added to the enjoyment of all those present by providing 10 clowns!
In comparison, painting a few signs doesn’t seem like much…
to number 13 yes it did but our banned didnt all the the paint went through the material but a great succes

Y.g did nothing except practise a little skit ( that was funnyish)
on the other hand. o.c sat up all night thursday night painting what the y.g. boys werent artistic enough to do.

WHAT ARE THEY ASHAMED OF? EVERYONE KNOWS ITS A LUBAVITCHER PARADE, AND THE LUBAVITCHER MUSIC HAS SO MUCH MORE LIFE AND MEANING TO IT. I HAVE A HARD TIME WITH THE VIDEO BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC.
