Watching a few minutes of the video humbles me

Beautiful Video

I made my children sit and listen to the video. I feel it’s very important that this generation knows what happened and learn to appreciate their freedom. When it’s time to daven or put on Tifilin they shouldn’t complain, they should be happy that they have the ability to keep mitzvas without restrictions.

This is so inspiring!

Chana alta you have a special father in law!!!!!!!!!

Even a reform Rabbi had a good answer
May 9, 2012 2:28 pm

In Miami, a reform Rabbi, interviewed on the radio, responded to this question as follows: “You see, G-d does not want us to be marionettes. We have free will to act good or evil. So the question should not be where was G-d, but, where was Man?”

a must listen to

Where was G-d?
May 9, 2012 9:52 am

As a survivor once elegantly said ‘ the question is not where was G-d during the Holocaust, but how could you not see G-d in the camps?’ After what took place there, there was clearly a higher power which saved those who survived.

It is incredible to see such strength. If only I can have a thimble of his belief I would be a giant.

Best Holocaust story
May 8, 2012 5:10 pm

My mother, A”H, also a holocaust survivor, heard Rabbi Mangel’s 1988 tapes, titled., “Where was G-d?,” where he talks about his experience. Now her experience was really harsh – she was deathly ill before liberation. But she said,”this is the best Holocaust story I ever heard. A little boy to go through so much?!”
