NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio joined a large crowd of people gathered to celebrate Chanukah at Brooklyn’s Largest Menorah located at Grand Army Plaza, not far from his home.
The annual Chanukah kickoff concert featured the renowned Jewish rock band – Moshav. Special children’s entertainment, singing and dancing, “Chanukah Gelt” for the children and hot Latkes were given out.

The band was great, created a warm atmosphere. I hope the Hehts continue this tradition every year for now on.
