Doesnt any Chabad House really belong to the Rebbe? I beleive so, after all who started the project and why do we do them? So in that light I am sending a donation in from my next pay check. PS: I am just an old, simple “Bal-Chuva”, who came back via the Rebbes Chabad Houses. Hatzlucha Rabba Marin Jews.

You have a good point there, but the problem that I’ve seen close up time and time again is that the big baalei tzedakah say “Ask the people in your city,” but in the Shliach’s own city there’s no-one to give; otherwise they wouldn’t need to ask out of town!!

Go to http://www.theshluchimfund.com and sign up that your cc can be charged monthly or make one time donation. Most Shluchim are doing ok but many are on difficult times.

While I like the notion, you must also remember that charity starts at home.

You may or may not realize that many local Moisdos are struggling, and are kept together only by miracle.

If you want a “list” of struggling locals, I will be happy to provide one.

But we all know who thay are.just pick up a phone and call .if you are told no thank you, you still helped by showing you care, thay are the rebbes army and we have a chance of being part too!
It’s a matter of realizing that if we have the means
We are blessed and now is the time to partner with your friend who is on his or her post and be part of the rebbes holy

can we have a list

This hardship not only effects the community of Marin, but friends and family allover the world. how does a son learning out of town keep his mind in the learning when he wonders if he’ll have a home to come back to for Pesach : (
