Tickets are now on sale for the annual Machon L’Yahadus Boutique Auction. The Boutique Auction features a unique grand prize – a dollar from the Rebbe, received on Rosh Chodesh Adar 5740 (1980).
The auction will take place on Rosh Chodesh Adar II at United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, 570 Crown Street.
This year, platinum prizes include this priceless dollar of the Rebbe as well as a $3,500 Itta Wig.
Gold prizes include everyone’s favorites, such as Tzfasman Jewelers, $1,200 in cash, Elite Sterling, Kirsh Jewelers, a color palette session with Sara Hecht, Everything But the Baby, an Exclusive Men’s Package and more.
And, the always-popular “split the pot” is one of the 14 opportunities to win.
Of course, everyone who purchases tickets IS a winner! Because they are partnering with Machon L’Yahadus as they educate young Jewish women at all points on their Jewish journey.
The year’s Boutique Auction will help offset the disbursement of $200,000 in scholarships that Machon L’Yahadus has awarded to its current students.
The student body of Machon L’Yahadus is comprised of young Jewish women from across the United States as well as Ukraine, Canada, England, Mexico, Argentina, Israel and Brazil. Each one has come to deepen her commitment to Judaism and to discover who she is as a Jewish woman in today’s world.
Rabbi Shloma Majeski, principal of Machon L’Yahadus, explains, “We give each student the individualized guidance she needs, as well as the knowledge, skills, and direction to build her own beautiful Jewish future. We receive calls on a weekly basis from young women who would like to apply for an upcoming semester, or attend for a few weeks through our Taste of Yeshiva program. They are often hesitant when asking about tuition costs, and for many, it is the make-it or break-it factor as to whether or not they will come. But we put them at ease by assuring them that we never turn away a student for financial reasons.”
“We created this Boutique Auction,” Rabbi Majeski continued, “to give our community the opportunity to partner with us; to give our current and future students a chance at a life imbued with the beauty of Torah, Mitzvos, and Chassidus. In the Zechus of your participation and Tzedakah, may Hashem Bentch each one of you with infinite blessings in every area of your life!”
The Boutique Auction begins at 8:00 pm, with final ticket purchases and a delicious dairy buffet by Kaff Kafe. Mrs. Nechama Rabin will be the master of ceremonies for the evening’s program that starts at 8:45 pm. Mrs. Miriam Racquel Feldman, Machon Alumna and award-winning author of G-d Said What?! #MyOrthodoxLife, from Chicago, will be the keynote speaker sharing her story. Current students will share the impact that Machon L’Yahadus has had in their journey toward Yiddishkeit. A musical performance by musician Mrs. Mirele Rosenberger and Machon alumna Yael Kane are also part of the inspiring and entertaining event.
Admission of $30 includes a $25 Auction Ticket and entry prize raffle ticket.
Tickets for all prizes can be purchased at https://www.rayze.it/machonauction/?utm_source=COLART1 and by calling Miriam from 9 am – 1 pm at (917) 822-3873 or Bluma from 1 – 9 pm at (347) 585-9119.
