The 2013 Mobi Awards in Israel, spearheaded by a panel of judges active in the country’s technology industry, has handed the honor to a Lubavitcher chossid this week.
Itzik Crombie, a high-tech entrepreneur who graduated Chabad yeshivos, was lauded for developing iSale, a mobile app that aims to redefine the sales experience both for the customer and the salesperson.
Crombie’s Tel Aviv based company, iSale Global, is one of the start-ups he has been involved with in recent years, leading a team of professionals at the forefront of industry innovation.
His involvement in the industry led him to organize the first Haredi Hi-Tech Forum, in which frum businesspeople, industry leaders, and business experts network and present ideas.
There is a great deal of support for high-tech entrepreneurship even among frum, Crombie told the Times of Israel. “They realize that the community is restless and is seeking a way out of their shell. It’s a matter of developing a sanctioned way for them to do so.”
very amazing
Maybe he can create an App for iGelt that helps those that need $$$.
