Machatzis Hashekel Crown Heights, a community project headed by Zaki Tamir, is offering the first of what will soon be many job offers in the New York area.
A Jewish activist running for public office is looking for paid employees for a short term job opportunity, MHCH.info reports.
Job requirements are speaking to people about the candidate, his campaign and policies and recruiting signatures and volunteers.
There is a possible opportunity for full time employment.
Those interested should attend a meeting at Aliyah Center tonight – Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:00 pm or call Mendy Jacobson at 917-848-7173 or 347 770-JOBS.
I would never try to help Democrats get elected, EVEN IF YOU PAID ME!
Hey, some people can use any job, don’t get me wrong. It’s a good start, but we should be pitching for some serious opportunities not just small jobs campaigning for politicians. When I begin seeing people from the Vaad providing genuine job opportunities I’ll know they are serious about helping our community.
I’m still very greatful to Tamir for all the work that he has done and continues to do for our community.
If Zaki Tamir is behind any project, you know that it has a solid base and has mass potential. When a child is learning to walk, it learns to crawl first. You ask “Zaki when are the real jobs being offered?” Zaki has begun to crawl in no time at all. We must be patient and give him a chance to stand up, walk and then run. Thank you Zaki and may HaShem bless you with the strength to continue on stronger and stronger!
To #4, you may be making a good point, but I don’t get it, and to #12, what’s the difference what it’s called-let’s just get to work!
With all due respect why are you calling this Zaki Tamir’s Machatzis Hashekel, and not CHJCC Machatzis Hashekel.
Btw what about “Nissan Adry & Ronnie Rendel’s Machatzis Hashekel”?
This is now a Community Project not a PRIVATE one!
When are we going to see real jobs being offered?
there are some jobs available at the sukkah center.
