American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad) in Washington, DC, in conjunction with many Chabad centers around the county, is hosting a live book event titled “American Jewish – Serving our Nation with Pride.”
Taking place on Thursday, July 16, at 5:30 PM Eastern Time, the event will feature two legendary Jewish people who served as senior officials in U.S. administrations:
Stuart Eizenstat, Chief Domestic Policy Advisor to President Jimmy Carter, Deputy Treasury Secretary under President Bill Clinton and U.S. Ambassador to the European Union (EU).
Dr. Tevi Troy, Chief Domestic Policy Advisor to President George W. Bush, Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services, and best-selling presidential historian.
They will share interesting similarities – and differences – in their unique experiences at the White House under very different presidents.
