I had him in 10th grade. Any kasha you asked him he would tell you without fanfare if it is asked by meforshim or discussed in another part of Shas.

Never had any interactions with him. Heard now of his amazing knowledge in Nigleh and Chassidus. Never knew. Wasn’t seen ever. He walked with no fan fare. Never spoke publicly or Farbrenganed which I’ve seen. Wasn’t a macher !!! A humble Hatzne leches. A Chosid. A Yiras Shomayim. A Lamdin. My ultimate loss. I’ve never got to know him. BDH.
