On Friday, July 5th, Chabad.org’s new book, Letters for Life, was ranked the number two best-selling book of the day, according to the Twitter account Top BestSeller Books which provides daily charts.
While the traditional best-seller lists lean almost exclusively on the sales of secular brick-and-mortar bookstores, favoring the “Big Five” publishers and effectively ignoring others, in recent years independent trackers emerged who track online and lesser-known publishers’ sales as well.
Hailed by professionals and laypeople alike as both a groundbreaking and riveting book, Letters for Life is exceeding all expectations and selling out at breakneck speed.
Per Kehot’s estimate, if the sales keep pace for another few days, it will soon go out of stock and a second print will be immediately necessary. In today’s tumultuous world, people of all backgrounds clearly feel the need for the Rebbe’s empathetic and saintly counsel.
