A unique community wide event took place on Lag B’omer in Johannesburg.
Over 3000 people attended the event which included rides for children, a children’s rally with the 12 Psukim and Tzeddokah, a Mitzvah Drive, over 30 bonfires throughout the forest and a concert with Eitan Katz of New York.
Over 40 communities, including Chabad, Ohr Somayach, Bnei Akiva, Aish Hatorah and a vast array of Shulls, participated in this unified event.
The event was arranged by Shluchim Rabbi Dovid and Feige Hazdan of the Great Park Shul.
Such unity is typical of SA.
