The annual Labor Day parade will take place in Crown Heights Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, with street closures beginning Sunday evening.
Anyone wishing to drive into Crown Heights streets, from Montgomery St. until President St., will need ID showing local address.
Expect heavy traffic delays from Sunday 10 pm to Monday 6 pm.
On Sunday evening beginning at 10:00 pm until Monday morning 9:30 am Empire Blvd will be closed from New York Avenue to Flatbush Avenue.
Monday morning from 10:00 am Empire Blvd. will open for through traffic, no turns.
Crown Heights streets will be closed Monday from Empire Blvd to Eastern Parkway, from Grand Army Plaza to Rochester Ave. 9:30 am until 6 pm.
I thought it used to say no parking on eastern parkway until Tuesday morning at 600 am (last year I think was Monday night 900 pm??) – a clear update would be much appreciated, at least by me, working in boro park, but live in CH, and drove to work today
