Children of the third grade of Cheder Menachem-Los Angeles visited the Abalone Cove Shoreline Park in Palos Verdes, CA, this week.
At the park, the boys had the opportunity to see the wonders of Hashem including the tidepools and bluff top viewing areas.
Led by their teacher, Rabbi Shimmy Heidingsfeld, they also went on a hike where the guide pointed out many of the unique plants and animals at the park. At the park the Children said the 12 pesukim and recited Tanya and mishnayos.
The children also visited the Chabad House in Palos Verdes where they ate lunch. Shliach Rabbi Yitzie Magalnic greeted them and bought them slurpees at the local 7-Eleven.
A few of the parents of the children joined the trip, including Rabbis Simcha Backman, Berke Rodal and Yitzie Magalnic.
Who’s hechsher is on the slurpees?????????????? Shliach Rabbi Yitzie Magalnic greeted them and bought them slurpees at the local 7-Eleven – did it have a reliable hechsher???????????????????
It’s great that the young kids get to see Hashem’s beauty in nature. It really helps the learning process and mental development and health for kids to spend group time outdoors. These kids are lucky that they live in such a beautiful and sunny part of the country so they have the opportunity to spend time outdoors.
