Members of the Toras Moshe Kollel, headed by Jerusalem’s Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar, spend this past Shabbos in Haditch in Ukraine.
The group has recently completed a series of “Heichel Shlomo” tests as part of their studies to become ordained as dayanim in Israel.
They flew to Ukraine in celebration and spent Shabbos near the holy gravesite of the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, founder of Chabad-Lubavitch and author of the Tanya and Shulchan Aruch Harav.
Leading the group was Rosh Kollel Rabbi Eliyahu Amar, Kiryat Gat Chief Rabbi Moshe Havlin, Mashpia Rabbi Mendel Foigel and the Haditch Shliach Rabbi Shneur Zalman Deitsch.
The visitors spend the Shabbos in davening, learning and hours-long farbrengen meals during which they sang Chabad niggunim, including the Daled Bavos of the Alter Rebbe.
