Shluchim from around the world arrived for registration at the Jewish Children’s Museum as the Kinus Hashluchim 5785 kicked off on Wednesday.
Each had a chance to write a letter in a new Torah being written in memory of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky OBM, the Director of the Kinus Hashluchim who passed away this year.
His son, Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Director of the Organizing Committee of the Kinus Hashluchim, spoke with Ami Maimon on the Chidudon program on Israel radio Kol Berama about the preparations and filling his father’s place.
“When my father became ill, I told him I would try to assist him in whatever he needed. I’m merely stepping into his place, but my father was completely devoted to this, with every ounce of his strength.”
He concluded with the hope that this year’s Kinus will culminate in Jerusalem, the Holy City, with the revelation of Moshiach Tzidkeinu and the ultimate and complete Redemption.
