The project was organized by the camp’s activity directors Yisrael Cohen and Boruch Ceitlin.

they do this in most camps and they all just pop after 5 minutes i remember when i went to cgi melbourne we did this many times and they just popped on the trees
Go Boruch! You are amazing!
Keep up the FANTASTIC work!
Hey Moishy your looking real busy and the cell phone, and Mendy with Schneur Zalman your cousin.
From Northern Cal
Ceitlin YOUR the BOmb
Boruch ur the best activity director!!!!!!!!!
get a life this is a very cute idea and if you really care about animals and pollution stop shooting garbage in the streets and buy a hybrid
This is done every year in the CGI girls division of Montreal. This was the first time the boys did this activity I think. As for the pollution….enough already maybe everyone should read the comment #15 & #18!
It’s an adorable idea, but like others said, what goes up must come down, and popped balloons are not good for the animals…they could eat them or choke on them. I’m sure there’s another way to teach the same lesson, but which does not harm anyone/anything.
-A CGI counselor
looks like fun, but most ballons fall down to earth and pollute, basically making jews look bad, plus a lot of marine animals and birds die from eating ballons,
they have to rethink this idea
What are you doing in MTL.??
the idea of balloon has been initiated and parcticed in many CGI’s around the world, including overnight camps for DOZENS of years.
I recall doing the same as a camper, counselor and head counselor.
Most day camps have done so and will continue to do so.
We actually had a letter land in a Jewish Yard and the owner phoned our camp and was so impressed!
Keep up the great work and continue spreading the Rebbes Shluchos!
yisroel my good brother keep it up that very nice way to go
My kid loves you so much, thanks for the best summer.
the camp that i go 2 (cgi kensington it rocks!) did that baloon thing like 2 or 3 years ago, and when the baloon landed back on earth, som1 – a not frum person i think – found it, and emailed chabad of kensington, and was imppresed w\ what the girl wrote! (we wrote our hachlotos in it!) i think that the baloon thing is rilly wonderful! i looove doing it!!!!!
go alexander!!!!!
wow thats a good idea………….
I hope it’s one of the mothers of the children. Who was it? What a terrific idea. Imagine the message balloon landing in another city bringing the message of the rebbe to some hick-town. Mrs. G. did you think of this?
The idea is great but its what happens to the balloons when they come back on earth that is the problem…….this is not acceptable anymore with the whole going green movement and they are correct because the balloons are not biodegradable……
go shneur zalman
good job….keep it up!!!!!!!!!!
whats muller doing there? doorman? lol!
It’s a wonderful, unique idea I never heard of before and I’m sure now it’ll be instituted around the country in many CGI’s.
You rock!!
Go Moshe, Yissochor, Shneur Zalman, Mendy , Rabbi Berkowitz & the gr-8test HC Rabbi Wilansky 🙂
because of pollution
