Mrs. Scheiner’s Yom Tov Fund is once again preparing to distribute free fresh food to needy families in Crown Heights for the Pesach holiday. To donate and help put food on the table for many local families, click here.

Devorah Scheiner is synonomous with Chesed! I remember just 2 weeks before her sons Chasunah, she made a special party for kids and their parents here in our community. When asked, 2 weeks before?!? Don’t you have so much on your plate and she so beautifully answered, “I want them to be happy too! That’s what makes me happy.” and sure enough… she’s been doing it ever since! Besides “kallah shopping,” yontif meat, chicken and fish cartons are given out so the homes of ALL should herald in and feel the joy of yontif. And… lets’ not forget new clothing… Read more »
Mrs. Scheiner has been busy day and night for YEARS helping all who are in need (she provides everything from food, clothing, shoes, a beautiful evening of music, refreshments & chizuk or a smile and a good word !! ) May HaShem pay her back tenfold NOW for all of her constant chesed.
