Jury Duty
August 14, 2015 2:07 am

They should also talk about the importance of serving on a jury & not trying to wriggle out of it. Would you want to be judged by your peers – or by 12 random people who never interacted with a frum Jew? Every time a Yid comes to the court with some pathetic excuse why he/she should be excused it’s a Chillul Hashem.

They should be in ehrlich batei din? There’s no bigger plague than the false arrests used by divorce lawyers as one ups in custody battles. Navigate courts when needed and with a heter bais din for civil matters, but the gross and inappropriate use of family courts for custody and divorce, which has lifelong traumatic effects because of overzealous lawyers needs to stop.

There are way too many people in Crown Heights who have been through the ringer of this broken court system or are still stuck there. Everyone – men, women, and children suffer from the Judges’ lack of backbone and seeming lack of actual interest in providing justice. Should we take this opportunity to protest ? There are a lot of angry, hurting people here. Brooklyn has the absolute worst reputation of the 5 boroughs. Please do not comment on why everyone should be… Read more »
